Pressure-relieving cushion for e.g., perfect protection and support of the heels. Can be placed from the Achilles tendon and up towards the thigh, whereby the heel is free from tissue pressure. Channel-sewn with genuine, Danish-produced, flame-retardant Krøyer balls. The cushion is dimensionally stable and has very good long-term properties.
The cushion can be placed with the largest channel at the feet for full support of the heels. If the smallest channel is placed at the feet, the heels touch the sheet, but without compression of the tissue. The length of the cushion protects the knees from overextending. It can also be used to support the knees if the patient does not fit the bed perfectly lengthwise.
The cushions surface is from incontinence fabric, which can be washed with soap and water or wiped with alcohol.
